Now their products come in many sizes, such as AAA, AA, C, D, and J. Their two mainbrands are "Coppertop" and "Ultra". The brand appeared in The Matrix, when Morpheus used one to explain to Neo that humans are being used as a power supply. Budweiser Beer
Have a look at this awesome Budweiser frog ads compilation !!We're sure u gonna love this one.
Here's more info on the Budweiser frogs. The Budweiser Frogs named "Bud", "Weis", and "Er", began appearing in American television commercials for Budweiser Beer during Super Bowl XXIX. They are part of one of the most well-known international alcohol advertising campaigns ever. They were created by Greg Gorman, the long-time brand manager for Budweiser. The commercial was directed by Tom DeCerchio, the director of Celtic Pride. The commercial is been listed among the best Super Bowl advertisements in history.
After the initial ads generated great interest, new creatures began making appearances in the swamp. Beginning at Super Bowl XXXII, two wisecracking chameleons who spoke with Brooklyn accents made their debut. Louie was irritated by the frogs' incessant croaking, and jealous of their success, while Frankie was his more rational, even-tempered friend. Frankie apparently socialized with the frogs and was puzzled by Louie's animosity towards them.
Later installments in the series documented Louie's enlisting the assistance of an inept ferret hit man to do away with the frogs by attempting to electrocute them. Louie briefly replaced Weis in the Bud-Weis-Er cheer, but the other frogs revealed to Louie that they could speak with a complete vocabulary and that they knew all along about his plot against them !!!
In The Simpsons episode "The Springfield Files", the advertising campaign is satirized. The three frogs get to say their names twice, but after the second "Weis", before "Er" can say his name, a giant alligator emerges from the swamp and eats them all in one bite, after which he proudly exclaims: "Coors!"
:-)))

The name "............... Renat Brännvin" was introduced by Smith to market his much improved product. adMad Update
Hitting a high
It’s been just eight weeks that we launched the new adMad but we have already crossed 10,000 hits. Thanks guys for all the support you have been giving us and we are expecting the same or even more to continue. Do keep visiting adMad to view the daily ads and do attempt the trivia question for the day whilst you are here and browse the repository we have here. And of course, do spread the word around. Send in your suggestions to 2creativeads@gmail.com. We are all ears to hear you. :-)
We got a lot of ads send in to us by various people. Ramya, Devadas, Royster, to name a few. We have posted some of those in adMad and the remaining will follow suite. Thanks to you guys. Keep sending more to 2creativeads@gmail.com. :-)
How do we select the winner?
Anish was curious to know about how we decide on the winner of a trivia. So lemme share with you guys how we are doing it @ adMad. :-)
Initially we thought of posting the names of all those who got their answers correct. But then, when we thought about the blog becoming famous and subsequently leading to a deluge of correct answers (agreed, we aimed high :p), we envisaged a practical difficulty in writing the names of all the winners. So we decided to have only one winner for a particular trivia right from day one.
Now how do we select that one lucky person? As you all know it’s pretty out-dated a technique to decide on the winner through a lucky dip and all; what we do is something like this.
We write the names of all those who get their answer correct in an excel sheet and give the names a number starting from one. Then we use the Rand () function in excel to generate a random number. As you know, this function gives a decimal value between zero and one. The first digit after the decimal shall decide the winner if the winner count is less than 10 and the first two digits if the winner count is less than 100 and so on. It hardly takes two minutes time, is simple and is scalable and so did we adhere to it! :p
Only the first value generated by the rand function is taken into consideration for deciding the winner. We go for a refresh of Rand () function in situations like, there are only 4 correct answers and the first digit after decimal is greater than 4, occur.
To give you an example, if these four get their answers correct,
1. Anish
2. Glenn
3. Suresh
4. Div
And if Rand () = 0.31562, then the winner would be 3, i.e. Suresh.
That’s all guys and we hope that adMad keeps rocking and hits more highs in its onward course...

adMad Trivia #16
In 1968 a really famous Music Band set up a Recording company to manage their creative affairs. Later in 1977, a fan of the band, set up his own company with a friend & named it by the same name as the recording company. A band member objected and a legal battle started. Finally, they reached a deal in 1981 that each company will stick to their respective businesses which were different. This was ok till 2003 when the fan's company now much bigger, got into the "music business" in a manner of speaking. Another legal battle ensued, and ended only in Feb 2007. Which brand name are we talking about, and name the band too if you can. This is very guessable :-)

Glasspac
The tagline says,
Made with only natural ingredients
Blended to perfection
Roasted for 17 hours
Then filled with coffee
We misinterpret it to be nescafe, but then it turns out to be the bottle made by Glasspac. A different kind of advertising tactic in which one tends to remember the ad/product because of the mistake he has committed in identifying it. "Learn by mistake" isnt it? :-)

In their advertising campaigns they use brands such as Nescafe, Gleneagles and Carlsberg and you might just mistake their ads for those of one of these products. About their product they claim the following "It is 25% lighter than its predecessor, and considerably stronger. Yet, it can be shaped, etched, enamelled, coloured and decorated in an almost infinite number of ways. It is also odourless, chemically inert and 100% recyclable - while remaining cost-effective." Which brand are we talking about? Atleast can you say what do they make?

Godaddy.com
Now you know why they are controversial, eh? And by the way, for the first time we have a video ad on adMad.
Yes, the answer is GoDaddy.com and unfortunately none got it right this time.
GoDaddy is an Internet domain registrar and web hosting company, which also sells e-business related software and services. Known for their controversial ads, they have increased traffic to their site after each controversy. This was voted the 'second most recalled campaign in this year’. If you are interested to see a few more of their campaigns do check out their ad link above this post.
adMad Trivia #5
This organization was formed and registered as a charitable trust on 11 September 1961, in Morges Switzerland and is known mostly by its acronym. It was an initiative of Julian Huxley and Max Nicholson, who had thirty years experience of linking progressive intellectuals with big business interests through the Political and Economic Planning think tank, with the businessman Victor Stolan, the naturalist Peter Scott and the advertising executive Guy Mountfort. Unfortunately I’d say, for a whole lot of the current generation, their acronym stands for something totally different from what this organization is into. Name this organization who actually had to fight a law suit to remedy this situation. Enough clues there I suppose.

Alka Seltzer
Revenge of the lobster, eh? Scary prospect isn't it? Alka Seltzer to the rescue. Yes, the answer to adMad Trivia #3 is Alka Seltzer. This is a brand name owned by the German Bayer Corporation for a line of medications sold over the counter and taken by means of rapidly dissolving tablets that form an effervescent solution in water. Its most famous ad "I can't believe I ate the whole thing" ad was reintroduced with Peter Boyle, apparently "in character" as Frank Barone from Everybody Loves Raymond.
Today's winner is Praneeth.
Now for today's question.
adMad Trivia #4
This often controversial company was founded by Bob Parsons and was called Jomax Technologies earlier. They seem to use controversal advertising as a method to attract traffic to their site. Candice Michelle appeared in its 2006 Super Bowl advertisement . Approval of the advertisement was tough to achieve, with 13 versions getting rejected. The final 14th version had been edited a lot before getting approval. This year they purchased advertising for the 2007 Superbowl and two ads were rejected by CBS for content. It was announced on January 29th that the third ad was been approved to air, featuring Ms. Michelle being sprayed with champagne with the Orange County Choppers crew and IndyCar driver Danica Patrick in a "marketing department meeting". Name this company.

Great photography! The tagline says, 'connect anywhere in Mexico'. The ad was released to market WAN incorporated note books in Mexico. This brand was created by Mikey Wiseman as a remedy for headache, indigestion and hangover. In their ads they used catch phrases such as "I can't believe I ate the whole thing!", "Mamma mia, that's-a spicy meatball-a!", "Try it, you'll like it!" and "Plop Plop Fizz Fizz, oh what a relief it is! So to kick off this new adMad Brand Trivia Section here is the first question...
adMad Trivia #1
The very first name of this lollipop was "gol", Spanish for "goal", due to the lollipop's resemblance to a football. But Enric Bernat, the founder was not totally convinced with this name and took another name. In order to advertise their lollipops, the young entrepreneur and his colleagues created a song that was played on the radio.
English translation for the same was:-
Get something sweet to lick
Lick lick lick a ....
It's round and lasts so long
Lick lick lick a ....
It's on a stick
So you stay clean
And if you want to get a mouthful
Lick lick lick a ....
Due to the catchy chorus, young consumers were soon flocking to candy stores and sing for ".... ...." instead of the actual name. Ever aware of his market, Enric Bernat decided to go along with this involuntary change and following the philosophy of "If you can't beat them, join them", re-christened his product. What was the new name?
