Halls

Halls is leading mentholated cough drops as well as breathe candies brand. It accounts for about 50% of international cough drop sales. The history of halls can be traced back to the 1930s in Britain, where it was manufactured by the Halls Brother Company founded in 1893. Currently the brand is marketed by the Cadbury-Adams Division of Cadbury-Schweppes. Halls flavors are usually suffixed by “lyptus” (mentho-lyptus, cherry-lyptus, orange-lyptus etc.) owing to its eucalyptus content.

The brand had the following conduit through mergers and acquisitions. Halls Brother Company > Warner-Lambert (1964) > Adams (1971) > Cadbury-Adams (2002).

Well as for the ad, I guess it is pretty much self-explanatory! :-)
